TRIPLE A

PROGRAM FEATURES

• A 28 session program for Medium-High Risk Male Federal Parolees
• At present, we are aware of a number of risk factors that, when changed, greatly reduce the likelihood of recidivism. Factors consistently identified as appropriate targets for intervention include, 
  
  1) criminal attitudes, values and beliefs - which permit the offender to excuse, minimize or condone criminal behaviour
  
  2) skill deficits in areas such as self-monitoring and self-management

The Triple A program was designed to address these major targets by teaching participants to identify, alter and replace pro-criminal beliefs and to provide the skills necessary to sustain pro-social attitudes and behaviours.
